Khondabi mentioned that she got married to Joey Scribner Howard, her sweetheart from high school who works as a mechanical engineer within the energy utilities sector. Khondabi and Joey have been close friends since they first met at Greenwood Christian School. The pair began to date during their senior year of high-school. Khondabi said she was in television news for around six years. In Augusta after Augusta I began my career as a reporter in the morning at WOWK Charleston West Virginia, and in Columbus Ohio worked as the morning traffic host, as well as morning news at Local ABC and FOX affiliated stations.
